The Board of Directors (Board) of the RDA is comprised of the members of the City Council of Salt Lake City; a formal Board list is here. The Board is given policy-making authority for the RDA, while the Mayor serves as the Executive Director. Board meetings are typically held monthly on a Tuesday at 2 p.m. As of 03/16/19, the scheduled 2019 RDA Board meetings are as follows: January 15, February 12, March 26, April 23, May 14, June 11, July 9, August 20, September 24, October 8, November 12, December 10.

Agendas are posted publicly on the front page of this website at least 24 hours prior to the meeting start time. Thereafter, those agendas are archived on the City Recorder’s Infobase site, as are the official minutes from each Board meeting, which are usually approved by the Board at the following month’s Board meeting.

The Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC) is comprised of members appointed by the Mayor and the Board who fulfill expertise classifications such as, but not limited to: finance, construction, law, architecture, and planning. Their purpose is to advise the Board concerning the RDA’s redevelopment programs, activities, and project areas. RAC typically conducts monthly meetings on the first or second Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the City & County Building at 451 South State Street, Room 335, Salt Lake City, Utah. Please check our website for updates as to when these meetings will occur, as occasionally they are not held every month.
Each monthly agenda will be posted in accordance with Utah Law on the State of Utah Public Notice Website https://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html.
