Granary District Project Area
The Granary District Project Area was created in1999 and will sunset in 2023. It includes approximately 95.8 acres of privately owned land, excluding streets, in the South Gateway Planning District. click here
RDA plan goals include improvements to public infrastructure, removal of blight, removal of billboards, and implementation of the Gateway Master Plan. Master plan goals for the area call for the creation of a mixed-use urban neighborhood focusing on support commercial business and services; redesign of the 900 South I-15 off-ramp; acquisition of the existing ramp right-of-way for a linear park and trail to the Jordan River Parkway; and the protection of the historic character of the block between 700 and 800 South at 400 West Street.
